Musical Tribute honoring Opal Lee “The Grandmother of Juneteenth” Reenactments of the life of Bessie Coleman, the first African American female pilot, by her great-grandniece Gigi Coleman. Music will be provided by: The Pikes Peak Community College Choir Charles Swinton (tenor) Stevie , soprano (can’t remember her last name) John Redmon on the piano.

“An Evening of Inspirational Word and Song” in honor of Ms. Opal Lee, the “Grandmother of Juneteenth,” featuring special guest Ms. Gigi Coleman, great grandniece of Bessie Coleman the first female African American pilot.
This year’s concert is being offered at no charge. Seating is limited, however, RSVPs are still required.
